A servo-controlled voltage stabiliser uses a motor-driven auto-transformer to continuously correct output voltage within ±1% regardless of input variation from 300V to 470V (three-phase). Correction speed is 15–40V/second — fast enough to handle DEWA grid fluctuations without any impact on connected loads. When the BMS detects a voltage sag event on the HV incoming feed at 2:47 PM on a summer afternoon, it cross-references with BMS data showing 94% HVAC load, identifies two chillers starting simultaneously as the cause, and adjusts the chiller staging algorithm to stagger starts by 45 seconds. The sag event disappears from the power quality log the next day — without any manual engineer intervention.
